5 Simple Steps to Shifting Your Mindset for Success

You have the skillset but you lack the mindset. Does that sound like you? Shifting your mindset is not an easy thing to do. Our brains have been conditioned since birth so in order to reset or rewire it, we must uninstall the old one with a new one. Habits are hard to break but you can slowly replace them with something that's beneficial to you and your health.


Here are 5 simple steps for you to do today for breaking the old mindset:


1. Start- Start somewhere, even if it's small. Small victories boosts happy chemicals to your brain and your mood instantly improves. Give yourself a small simple task to do everyday for a week and after that week is over, you've accomplished those tasks, treat yourself. Always be good to you, your mind, body and spirit.


2. Question- Ask yourself some very important questions and answer them with a clear mindset.

Where do you want to be in life?

What do you want to achieve?

Who would it benefit?

How is it going to make you feel after you achieve it?

Being able to answer these questions will help you take action and clear some things up for you.


3. Create- Create your future with clarity. Visualize that you have already achieved your goals. Make a vision statement to express what you see, how you feel. The clearer the vision, the more attainable the goal will be. What you see, you feel and what you feel, you already have. What you heart feels, your brain will also put it into action.


4. Recognize- Recognize and detach negative people and thoughts from your life if you want to make a change. Shifting your mindset means not doing the same thing you did yesterday and trying something new. Pay no attention to "nay-sayers" and "Debbie-downers." You know who they are and it's a must for inner peace and growth. I'm not saying you have to fully remove them from your life but what I'm saying is that you should limit your interactions with them. You are your worst critic and enemy. Your self negative talk can break you. Learn how to shift your self-doubt into self-love and self-beliefs.


5. Inspire- Inspire others to do their best and be their best. In return you will get a wave of warmth flowing through your heart. A boost of happy chemicals throughout your whole body. When you feel good about what you've done, your mindset shifts from negative to positive. The best inspiration is you showing the world what you can do and what you're made of. Blossom into the best version of yourself, be really good at what you love to do and genuinely love yourself and your life. Those around you will gravitate towards you and will want to work on themselves too! So go ahead, inspire others, servicing the human race is the highest from of motivation for a fulfilling life.
